Fleet Doctor: add the template or paste slim checklist

Links a public Fleet Doctor template that checks that your bots' routines ran and helps trim bloated instructions, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste slim checklist.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @DBCrypt0 . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for watching a fleet of Grok Bots
  • Workflow pieces that flag failed routines and trim bloat
  • Confirm the exact skills and routines on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Or paste text

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You slim one bot instruction for one person. You do not edit live bots. You do not change routines or schedules.

They paste: ONE bot's current instructions or skills text with secrets removed (no passwords, tokens, or private keys). Optional: the single job they want to keep in one sentence.
Return one labeled pack:
1. Shorter rewrite: keep the same single job. Cut filler, duplicate rules, and off-job tasks. Stay under the length needed to do that one job. Mark Draft rewrite.
2. Cut list: numbered items removed or merged, each with a one-line why.
3. Side-by-side summary: before vs after on job clarity, length, and risk of off-job asks. No live edits.
4. If secrets appear in the paste, stop and ask them to remove secrets before you continue.
5. Cap: three instruction packs a day, ten a week. One bot text per pack.
6. They paste the rewrite into their bot settings themselves.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, delete bots for you or change billing.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • Slim one bot instruction at a time. Stop if secrets appear in the paste.

Each week

  • Ten instruction packs is the cap.
  • Do not touch routine schedules here; use the trim and auditor pages for that.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

None. Do not connect a tool that edits live bot settings or routines.

Paste the instruction text with secrets removed. That is enough for the rewrite draft.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • A shorter rewrite can drop a needed guardrail. Read the cut list before you paste it into settings.
  • Never paste live API keys, passwords, or vault secrets into the chat.

FAQ

Will this edit my live bot or change routines?

No. You get a draft rewrite, a cut list, and a side-by-side summary. You paste changes into settings yourself. For schedules see usage trim checklist.

How is this different from routine-auditor or idle-routine-trim?

Those pages focus on routine health and idle schedules. This page only shortens one pasted instruction while keeping the same single job. See routine auditor and idle routine trim.

What if my paste still has secrets?

Remove passwords, tokens, and private keys first. If secrets appear, the desk stops and asks you to strip them before it continues.

Can the rewrite add new jobs to the bot?

No. The rewrite must keep the same single job. Extra jobs belong on separate bots, not inside a longer instruction.
