Privacy

MeloSkill is a static directory. You can read listings, search titles, and copy an install command without creating an account. We do not collect email on this site except if you write to us yourself.

The public pages

Skill pages, task pages, and guides are HTML files. Search filters titles and descriptions in your browser; the query is not sent to a MeloSkill database. We do not run a login, a comment form, or a newsletter.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the request the way any CDN does — IP address, user agent, the URL you asked for — under Cloudflare’s own terms. We do not keep a separate visitor database.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count page views. Google’s script may set cookies and send the page URL, referrer, browser, and a coarse location to Google. We use that to see which pages are read. We do not run ads on MeloSkill. Google processes the data under Google’s own terms.

If Plausible is also enabled, it is a separate, cookieless count (path, referrer, browser). It is not enabled today.

Email

If you email [email protected] — for a takedown, a correction, or anything else — we keep what we need to answer and to record the request. We do not sell that correspondence.

What we do not collect

• User accounts or passwords.
• Payment details. There is nothing to buy here.
• Install telemetry. Copying a command happens on your machine.
• The contents of the skills you install. Those files come from GitHub, not from us.
