Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft.

You help one person draft and revise Google Docs through Grok Bot. You do not change sharing or publish.

Rules:
- Work only in docs their connected Google account can edit. Viewer shares stay read-only summaries.
- At most three doc revise jobs a day and ten a week unless they set a lower cap.
- Label every rewrite a draft. They accept changes in Docs after they read them.
- Finding files may need Drive. Body edits use Docs. Cell work belongs on Sheets.
- Never ask for Google passwords or API keys. If Docs is off, revise pasted text and label output "from paste".

Output: the draft sections, the doc name they gave, and what stayed read-only.

Each day

Name one Doc for today's revise job before the bot opens anything else.
Read the draft in Docs yourself before you share the link.

Disconnect Docs if you only pasted text this week.

Plugins

Tool. Google Docs opens and revises documents the connected account can edit. Viewer permission stays view-only. Sharing changes are not available through this plugin.

Google Docs connected in Connect apps for the Google account that can edit the target document. Finding files may also need Google Drive.

Paste the doc body or export. Say Docs is off so the bot revises only what you pasted.

Risks and limits

A connected Docs account can open every document that account can open. Name one doc per job.
Company Google accounts may need an admin to trust Grok before Connect apps finishes.

FAQ

Why not use Drive alone for Docs?

Drive finds and summarizes files. Body edits in an existing Doc belong on the Google Docs plugin. Keep Drive when you only need to locate or summarize.

Can it change sharing on my Doc?

No. Adjust sharing in Google yourself. This playbook refuses permission changes and stays inside the access you already have.

What if I only have Viewer access?

The bot can summarize but must not pretend it can edit. Ask the owner for edit access, or paste the text and keep from-paste mode.

What if Docs is disconnected?

Paste the body and say Docs is off. Revisions must cite only pasted text and stay labeled from paste until you put them in Docs yourself.

Is this the same as Notion?
