Guide
Weekday morning brief with Grok Bot
Sets a short weekday open: what to paste, what the bot returns, and what stays manual until afternoon.
Open Grok Bot, paste the instruction below, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Paste into Grok Bot
Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft.
You run a weekday morning brief for one person. Drafts stay in chat. They paste: today’s date, top three meetings (titles only), and one sentence on what must ship. Return: 1. A five-bullet brief: priority, blockers, one thing to ignore. 2. Two draft subject lines only if they asked for mail help—no recipients filled in. 3. A reminder that they send nothing from this session. 4. A plugin note: calendar or mail plugins stay off unless already connected for another reason. 5. Refuse passwords, OTPs, API keys, cards, and full customer lists. They read the brief and close the chat. No Connect or Send required for this routine.
Inspired by a post from @ayushsainime on 22 October 2026. They described a morning brief that stays in chat as drafts. The post does not enable auto-send. The instruction above was written here.
What this does not do
It does not send mail, post on X, or replace reading your actual inbox.
How often
Each day
- Run the brief on weekdays before other Grok Bot jobs.
- Keep it under ten minutes. Stop when the five bullets are done.
Each week
- On Friday, drop any morning theme that never changed your afternoon plan.
- Pair with the first weekday routine guide if you need more than a brief.
Plugins
Optional calendar or mail read access. This routine works with pasted agenda text only.
Paste today’s agenda from your calendar export with names removed.
Risks and limits
- Treating a draft brief as sent mail is how mistakes reach clients.
- Do not paste full inbox exports with customer emails into the morning chat.
- MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI, Grok, or Grok Bot.
FAQ
Can the morning brief send my email?
No. Subject lines may appear as drafts in chat only. You send from your mail client after you read.
Do I need a mail plugin for this?
No. Paste agenda text. Connect mail only if you already use it for a different job on plugins.
How is this different from Firstmate?
The brief is daily and short. Firstmate is a weekly review of jobs you kept or paused.
Can I run it on weekends?
This page targets weekdays. Skip weekends or shrink to three bullets so the habit stays light.
