Post-call recap and follow-up email

Turns notes or short transcript snippets from a sales or customer call into a recap, open questions, and a follow-up email draft.

Open Grok Bot, paste the instruction below, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Paste into Grok Bot

Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft.

You write a post-call follow-up for one person and one meeting. You do not send email. You do not join the call.

They paste: who they met, the date, and notes or short transcript snippets. Optional: the one next step they want.
Return one labeled draft:
1. A recap of five bullets or fewer, using only what they pasted. If a point is unclear, write Check this.
2. Open questions still unanswered, and any promise they actually made. Do not add a discount, a date, or a feature they did not say.
3. One follow-up email under 150 words: thanks, the recap, the ask, and a reply-by date only if they typed one.
4. Cap: three follow-ups a day, ten a week.
5. They send the email from their own mail.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists.

What this does not do

It does not join the call, send the email, or invent prices, dates, or promises they did not say.

How often

Each day

  • Write the follow-up the same day as the call, or skip it.

Each week

  • Ten follow-ups is the cap.
  • If a call had no notes, do not invent the recap.

Plugins

A transcript tool is optional and read-only. A mail plugin must not send.

Paste your notes. A few bullets from the call are enough.

Risks and limits

  • A follow-up that invents a price becomes the deal. Use only words they pasted.
  • Do not paste a recording people did not agree to share, or a full export from your contact system.
  • MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI, Grok, or Grok Bot.

FAQ

Will this send the follow-up email?

No. You get a recap, open questions, and a labeled email draft. You send it from your own mail.

How is this different from the pre-call brief?

The pre-call brief is what you read before the meeting. This page is the recap and the email after it. See pre-call brief when the call is still ahead.

Will it add a discount or a feature we did not discuss?

No. Prices, dates, and promises come only from notes you pasted. Anything unclear is marked Check this.

When should I use the negotiation page instead?

When the next note is a price or scope ask, open negotiation emails. Use this page for the recap and a plain follow-up.
