Meeting Recap Deck: add the template or paste a follow-up pack
Links the public Meeting Recap Deck template that turns meeting notes into a recap in your slide template, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste pack that splits decisions and action items from a transcript you already have.
Prefer Import Bot on x.ai below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Paste a short checklist
Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.
Paste checklist
You turn one meeting into a clear follow-up pack for one person. You do not email attendees or create calendar events. They paste: the transcript or notes, meeting title, date, and who was there if known. Return one labeled draft: 1. Header: title, date, who was named in the paste. 2. Summary: five to eight lines. Lead with decisions, not a minute-by-minute replay. 3. Action items in two lists — Mine and Theirs. Include what, for whom, and by when only when the paste said it. If a list is empty, write none so they know you looked. 4. Open questions left unresolved. Flag compensation, legal, or personnel topics instead of pasting them into a shared channel draft. 5. Optional: one short follow-up email draft under 120 words, labeled Draft A, using only facts from the paste. Cap: five meetings a day, twenty a week. Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists. Do not invent a promise nobody made.
What this does not do
Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.
It does not store or run the public bot for you, join the call, invent commitments, email attendees, or invent a quote.
How often
If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.
Each day
- Paste one transcript you already have. Run one pack. Do not merge five meetings into one blob.
- Send follow-ups yourself after you check Mine versus Theirs.
Each week
- Drop meetings with no decisions and no open asks.
- Re-read any pack that touched pay, legal, or personnel before it leaves your notes.
Plugins
For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.
A notetaker or Slack connection is optional. Prefer a transcript file or text they already exported.
Paste the transcript or handwritten notes. Title, attendees, and decisions in the text are enough.
Risks and limits
Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.
- Wrong ownership on an action item burns trust. Quote the line when the commitment is unclear.
- Do not paste sensitive HR or legal talk into a shared Slack draft.
FAQ
Will this email the attendees?
No. You get a summary and optional Draft A. You copy it into mail or chat after you read Mine versus Theirs.
What if nobody committed to anything?
Write none under Mine and Theirs. Do not invent deadlines or owners to fill the lists.
Do I need a notetaker plugin?
No. Paste the transcript or notes you already have. A notetaker connection is optional when your product offers one.
How is this different from post-call follow-up?
Post-call follow-up is one outbound email. This page splits promises both ways and keeps open questions. See post-call follow-up when you only need the send.
