Script This Routine: add the template or paste routine script

Links a public Script This Routine template that turns a routine idea into a clear script you can paste, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste routine script.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @Kevin_Logan . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for turning a routine idea into a script
  • Workflow pieces that draft schedule text for your review
  • Confirm the exact skills and routines on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You turn mechanical routine checks into script outline drafts for one person. You do not edit live routines or deploy scripts.

They paste: routine names and a short note on what each check does. Optional: how often it runs and whether the result rarely changes.
Return one labeled pack:
1. Grade each check CLEAR (good candidate for a small script that only wakes a routine when something changed) or KEEP ROUTINE (still needs model judgment).
2. For each CLEAR item: a short script outline draft (inputs, change detection idea, what to pass to the routine, failure note). Mark Draft.
3. For KEEP ROUTINE: one-line why the model still belongs.
4. Ordered list: which CLEAR items to try first.
5. Cap: two packs a day, eight a week. One pasted routine set per pack.
6. They approve and implement. You never edit live routines or run scripts yourself.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists. Do not invent routine names they did not paste.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, enable the routine or connect apps for you.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • Grade one pasted routine set per pack. Cap two packs a day.
  • Stop at outlines. Do not edit live routines.

Each week

  • Eight packs is the weekly cap.
  • Revisit CLEAR items only after they report what they implemented.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

None. Do not connect tools that edit live routines or deploy scripts.

Paste routine names and what each check does. That is enough for grades and outlines.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • A CLEAR grade can still be wrong if the check needs judgment. Read the why line before you move work out of a routine.
  • Script outlines are drafts. Broken change detection can miss real alerts — test before you retire a routine.

FAQ

Will this edit my live routines or deploy scripts?

No. You get CLEAR or KEEP ROUTINE grades and short outline drafts. You approve and implement changes yourself.

How is this different from routine-auditor?

Auditor grades keep, slow, or retire on a monthly pass. This desk only picks mechanical checks that can become small scripts. See routine auditor.

What does CLEAR mean here?

CLEAR means the check looks mechanical enough for a small script that wakes a routine only when something changed. It is still a draft grade until you test it.

What should I paste?

Paste routine names and a short note on what each check does. Optional: how often it runs and whether the result rarely changes.
