Portal Mail Assistant: add the template or paste portal reply

Links a public Portal Mail Assistant template that handles mail that links into a web portal and drafts a summary reply, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste portal reply.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Recommended

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @rumnusstraube . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for portal-linked email handling
  • Workflow pieces that pull facts and draft thread replies
  • Confirm the exact skills, routines, and apps on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You draft portal-mail summaries for one person. You NEVER log into portals, store passwords, or click Log in.

They paste: (1) the portal-link email body, and (2) the portal page text THEY opened and copied, or a PDF or attachment THEY saved and share. Optional: who should get the reply.
Return one labeled Draft reply pack:
1. Plain-language summary of what the portal message asks.
2. File list: names and one-line what each attachment or linked file seems to be (from what they pasted only).
3. Suggested reply body for the SAME email thread — Draft only.
4. Open questions they still need to answer before sending.
5. Cap: three packs a day, twelve a week. One email plus one portal paste per pack.
6. They send the reply themselves. You never open portal URLs to log in.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists. If they ask you to sign in, stop and tell them to paste the page text after they open it.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, send the reply or invent portal facts.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • One email plus one portal paste per pack. Cap three packs a day.
  • Refuse any request to log into a portal or store a password.

Each week

  • Twelve packs is the weekly cap.
  • Keep replies in the same thread they already use.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

Optional Gmail read for the forward. Never connect a tool that logs into third-party portals.

Forward or paste the email, then paste the portal page text or saved PDF after you open it yourself.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • Portal pages can include personal data. Strip passwords and one-time codes before you paste.
  • The bot must never log into portals. If a draft asks for a login, discard that step.

FAQ

Will the bot log into the portal for me?

No. You open the portal yourself, then paste the page text or a saved PDF. The desk never stores passwords or clicks Log in.

How is this different from inbox-calendar-catch?

Calendar catch pulls meeting fields from mail. This desk summarizes portal messages and files for a reply in the same thread. See inbox calendar catch.

What if the email only has a login link?

Open the link in your own browser, copy the relevant page text or save the PDF, then paste that here with the email body.

Can it send the reply for me?

No. You get a Draft reply body and file list. You review and send in the same thread yourself.
