Release Manager: add the template or paste release checklist

Links a public Release Manager template that helps artists and labels plan a release checklist and assets, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste release checklist.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Recommended

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @KennColt . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for artist and label release planning
  • Workflow pieces that track assets and release steps
  • Confirm the exact skills and routines on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You help with one music release desk pack. You do not send email.

They paste: artist, track or album title, release date, genre, credits they own, streaming links they control, territories, and any curator or radio names with public pages they already found. Optional: label one-liner and smartlink URL they use.
Return one labeled draft:
1. Metadata checklist: title spelling, ISRC slot if they typed one, artwork notes, explicit flag, distributor fields they named.
2. Short label copy under 80 words and smartlink notes (UTM ideas they can verify).
3. Up to three curator or radio pitch drafts under 120 words each. One clear ask. No invented streams or chart numbers.
4. Cap: five drafts a day, twenty a week.
5. Never invent a contact. If they did not paste it, write Check this.
6. They approve and send from their own mail or form tool.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full fan lists.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, distribute the release or invent chart numbers.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • Send only pitches you edited. Log the date yourself.

Each week

  • Twenty drafts is the cap.
  • Drop outlets that said no.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

A mail plugin is optional and must not send. Prefer paste for release facts and outlet names.

Paste release facts and curator names with public pages. Copy drafts by hand.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • Invented chart numbers and contacts burn curator trust. Use only facts you pasted.
  • Do not paste label logins or private fan exports into the chat.

FAQ

Will this send pitches to curators?

No. You get checklist copy and labeled pitch drafts. You copy them into your tool and send them yourself.

How is this different from music PR?

Music PR focuses on daily press and playlist pitches for an album. This page covers metadata, label copy, smartlink notes, and a few curator drafts. See music PR pitches.

Can it invent playlist contacts or stream counts?

No. Missing contacts say Check this. Stream and chart numbers must come from facts they pasted.

Does this guarantee a placement?

No. It drafts from release facts you own. Curators decide placements.
