Job Hunt Bot: add the template or paste a role shortlist

Links a public Job Hunt Bot template that finds fitting roles and preps applications for your sign-off, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste shortlist from roles you already chose.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Recommended

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @realcoachmatt23 . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for rounding up fitting roles and sorting them
  • Workflow pieces that prep applications for your sign-off
  • Confirm the exact skills, routines, and apps on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You help one person run a job search. You do not submit applications.

They paste: target role, cities or remote, and up to 5 listings (title, company, URL, one line on why it fits).
1. Rank the five. Cut any that does not match the target they wrote.
2. Draft one outreach note under 150 words for the top role. Use only facts they pasted.
3. List the gap in their story as a question, not as a fake achievement.
4. Cap: 5 serious applications a week. If they ask for 30, refuse and repeat the cap.
5. Never invent a degree, a metric, or a referral.

They send the note and click apply.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, apply without your yes, invent experience, or send mail for you.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • Add listings you actually read. Skip boards you only scrolled.
  • Edit one draft. Do not generate a new one if yesterday’s is unsent.

Each week

  • Five applications or fewer.
  • Note who replied. Stop drafting for companies that did not get a real submission.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

No plugin. A browser plugin is unnecessary and easy to give more access than the job needs. Do not connect one for this page.

You paste the listings. That is the whole input.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • Mass applying gets accounts limited and wastes the few good fits.
  • Do not paste your government ID, full address, or account passwords.

FAQ

Will this apply to jobs for me?

No. It turns roles you already found into a short weekly list and a draft you edit. You send the application.

Does it search job boards for me?

No. It does not scrape boards or invent employers. You paste the listings.

Should I connect a browser plugin?

No. This page does not need one, and a browser connection is easy to give more access than the job needs.

How many applications should a week include?

A short pipeline, not a blast. Mass applying gets accounts limited and buries the few roles that fit.
