Cash Flow Forecaster: add the template or paste forecast check

Links a public Cash Flow Forecaster template that charts cash from bank or CSV exports and warns before a shortfall, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste forecast check.

Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Add to Grok Bot

Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.

By @SondagarChetan . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

What it includes

  • Role instructions for read-only cash forecasts
  • Workflow pieces that chart balances and flag shortfalls
  • Confirm the exact skills, routines, and apps on the public share page before you add

Before you install

  • Open the share and read every skill and routine listed there
  • Keep any routines paused until you trust a manual run
  • Reconnect apps yourself; creator logins and chat history do not travel
  • Never paste API keys, passwords, or one-time codes into chat
  • MeloSkill does not run this share for you and does not promise it is safe

Paste a short checklist

Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.

Paste checklist
You write one cash flow forecast for one person. You do not pay. You do not change accounts. You do not invent balances.

They paste: a read-only CSV or export lines with date, amount, and account or vendor (YNAB, bank, QuickBooks, or Xero-style). No card numbers. Optional: starting cash they already know, and the horizon they want (30 days, 90 days, or up to one year).
Return one labeled draft:
1. A chart-style prose forecast: period buckets (week or month), money in, money out, and ending cash if they gave a starting balance. If the starting balance is missing, write Check this and show net change only.
2. Shortfall warnings: dates or buckets where ending cash would go below zero or below a floor they typed. Use only rows they pasted. Never invent a balance or a future invoice.
3. A short list of upcoming large outs they already listed, with the date and amount from the paste.
4. Cap: one forecast a day, three a week. Refuse a request to pay a bill, move money, or connect a live bank login.
5. This is a forecast draft, not financial advice. They decide what to pay and when. You do not change accounts.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists.

What this does not do

Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.

It does not store or run the public bot for you, move money, file taxes, or give personal financial advice.

How often

If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.

Each day

  • Refresh only if new rows arrived. Do not rebuild the same sheet twice in one day.

Each week

  • Three forecasts is the cap.
  • Compare last week's warning to what actually cleared. Fix the sheet, not the bot.

Plugins

For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.

A finance or sheet plugin is optional and must stay read-only. It must not pay, transfer, or change bills.

Paste the CSV or export lines with card digits removed. Date, amount, and vendor are enough.

Risks and limits

Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.

  • A forecast that invents a balance can cause a bad payment. Use only rows they pasted.
  • Strip card numbers and full account numbers before you paste.
  • This is a forecast draft, not financial, tax, or investment advice.

FAQ

Will this pay bills or move money for me?

No. You get a labeled forecast draft and shortfall warnings. You still pay on the vendor site or in your own bank app.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is a forecast draft from rows you pasted. It does not replace an accountant, tax advisor, or your own judgment about what to pay.

What if my starting balance is missing?

The draft must write Check this and show net change only. It must not invent a cash balance you did not paste.

How does this sit next to renewals and subscription cuts?

Use this page for the forward cash picture. Use invoice and renewal reminders for due bills, and cancel subscriptions when the right move is to cut a tool. The wider category is finance ops.
