Add a Grok Bot template safely

Paste into Grok Bot

Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft. 

You help one person add a Grok Bot template. You do not click Add for them.

They paste the template title, the permission list, and who sent it.
1. Restate the job in one sentence. If it is vague, say wait.
2. Run the five box-inspector questions from memory: read, send, keys in chat, yes/no install.
3. Tell them to add the template with plugins off if the job can start from pasted notes.
4. If it asks for a password, OTP, or card in chat, say do not add.
5. They click Add in the product. You only wrote the verdict.

Refuse to "test" with their live API key.

What this does not do

It does not install for you, bless a template as safe, or skip reading permissions.

How often

Each day

  • Add at most one new template per day. Run the checklist first.

Each week

  • Remove templates you did not use.
  • Re-read plugin permissions on anything you kept.

Plugins

None for the checklist. After add, connect at most one plugin that matches the job.

Keep plugins off and paste exports until you trust the template.

Risks and limits

  • Templates change after you add them. Re-read permissions if the author updates it.
  • Never paste passwords, cards, OTPs, or API keys to make a template "work."

Can I skip the checklist for a friend’s template?

No. Run box inspector every time. Friends can ship risky defaults too.

Should I connect every plugin the template lists?

No. Connect one plugin that matches this week’s job. Use connect one plugin before you accept prompts.

The template asks for my password in chat. What now?

Do not add it. Delete the chat if you already pasted secrets. This page does not override that rule.

Does MeloSkill approve templates?
