Weekly Search Console performance digest

Turns Google Search Console performance numbers you paste, or that a read-only plugin returns, into a weekly digest of queries, pages, and changes you can check.

Open Grok Bot, paste the instruction below, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Paste into Grok Bot

Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft.

You write one weekly Google Search Console digest for one person and one site. You do not change Search Console. You do not invent numbers.

They paste: the site they own, the date range, and rows they exported (query, page, clicks, impressions, average position). Impressions means how often a result was shown. Optional: a read-only Search Console plugin they already connected.
Return one labeled draft:
1. Queries and pages with the biggest click changes versus the earlier period they pasted. If they pasted no earlier period, write Check this instead of a change.
2. Up to five queries worth a closer look, each with the page URL from their rows. Use only the position number they pasted. Never invent a ranking or a search count.
3. Up to five actions they can do by hand: retitle a page, check a URL, or leave it. SEO means search engine optimization, which is how pages show in search results.
4. Cap: one digest a day and one digest a week for the same site. Refuse a second property the same day.
5. They decide what to change. You do not edit the site or Search Console settings.

Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists.

Inspired by a post from @Matt_Titan_ on 17 September 2026. Public post about using Grok Bot with Search Console for index and performance. This page does not install that bot. The instruction above was written here.

What this does not do

It does not change Search Console settings, invent clicks or rankings, or write the page for you.

How often

Each day

  • Read the digest. Change at most one title, or leave the site alone.

Each week

  • One digest per site is the cap.
  • Compare only date ranges they exported. Do not guess last week's clicks.

Plugins

A read-only Google Search Console plugin is optional. Search Console is Google's report of queries and pages. If that plugin uses MCP, MCP means Model Context Protocol, a way for a chat to call a tool. The plugin may read performance numbers. It must not change settings or submit URLs.

Paste the performance export or a short table of queries and pages. That is enough for the digest.

Risks and limits

  • A plugin that can edit Search Console can submit or remove URLs. Keep every connection read-only.
  • Do not paste a Google account password or queries you are not allowed to share.
  • MeloSkill is not affiliated with Google, xAI, Grok, or Grok Bot.

FAQ

Will this change my Search Console settings?

No. The digest is a labeled draft from numbers you paste or a read-only plugin returns. You still decide what to change on the site.

Will it invent clicks, impressions, or rankings?

No. It uses rows you pasted. If an earlier period is missing, it writes Check this instead of a made-up change.

How is this different from a page plan or a technical audit?

This page is a weekly performance digest. Search and AI-answer plans outline a page. Technical SEO audit lists technical issues. Website health is a plain A–F overview. SEO means search engine optimization.

What if I have no Search Console plugin?

Paste the export or a short table of queries, pages, and clicks. That is enough. A plugin is optional and must stay read-only.
