Which skill should I install first?
Start with remotion-create when there is no project yet, or you asked to make a new video. Use remotion-markup when you are writing scenes, timing, and effects in Remotion React. Use remotion-render when the composition exists and the job is export.
Where is remotion-best-practices?
remotion-best-practices is the official router: it points at create, markup, render, captions, and the rest. It stays in the index so you can read the map. This short list compares the three construction files.
Is this the same as the motion task?
No. Motion is product UI animation (CSS, Expo, GSAP, LottieFiles direction). Remotion is code-driven video. Do not install both as the default for one job.
Can I use this with Grok Bot?
Yes. Paste the SKILL.md into Grok Bot or attach the file. That still builds a Remotion video. For short social clips from a recording you own, see the clip farm playbook.
