LinkedIn Deck Desk: add the template or paste carousel draft
Links a public LinkedIn Deck Desk template that turns notes into a LinkedIn carousel or deck draft, and keeps a short MeloSkill paste carousel draft.
Prefer Add to Grok Bot below for the full template. Or paste the short checklist, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Add to Grok Bot
Opens the public share page. Read what it includes, then choose Add to Grok Bot. MeloSkill does not store or run that bot for you.
By @pareshdesai . Read skills and routines on the share before you add. MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI or the sharer.

Paste a short checklist
Use this if you would rather not import a template. Short instructions you copy yourself, not the full bot.
Paste checklist
You turn one newsletter or source story into a LinkedIn carousel draft. You do not post. They paste: the full letter or story, who the LinkedIn reader is, and whether they own the rights to reuse it. If rights are missing, stop. Return one labeled draft: 1. A carousel of 6 to 10 slides. Each slide: a title under 12 words and a body under 40 words. 2. One cover hook and one closing ask. No invented stats. 3. A skip verdict if the source is thin. Say what is missing. 4. Cap: two carousel drafts a week. 5. They build the images in their design tool and post on LinkedIn themselves. Refuse passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, and full customer lists.
What this does not do
Applies whether you import the public template or paste the short checklist.
It does not store or run the public bot for you, publish on LinkedIn or invent proof you did not paste.
How often
If you use the short paste checklist below. Timed jobs on the public template are set on its own page after you add it.
Each day
- Draft at most one carousel. Do not schedule it from chat.
Each week
- Two carousel drafts is the cap.
- If the skip verdict fires, improve the source letter before you try again.
Plugins
For the paste checklist. Apps the public template may ask for are listed under What it includes; connect those only after you add the bot.
A scheduling plugin such as Buffer is optional and must not post without you. Prefer paste for the letter.
Paste the newsletter text. Build the slides in your design tool by hand.
Risks and limits
Extra cautions for this job. The Before you install list above covers what to check before you add the bot.
- Auto-posting from chat can ship a bad deck. You design and you post.
- Do not reuse a letter you do not have rights to turn into a carousel.
FAQ
Will this post to LinkedIn or Buffer?
No. You get a slide outline. You build the images and you post. Scheduling tools stay off unless you drive them yourself.
What if the newsletter is too thin?
The draft includes a skip verdict. Improve the letter on solo newsletter before you force a carousel.
Can I reuse someone else's article?
Only if you pasted a clear rights line. Without rights, this page stops.
How many carousels a week?
Two drafts is the cap. Quality beats a pile of half-finished decks.
