Guide
Keep Vault lean before first fill
Helps one person audit what belongs in Vault versus typed on screen, keep payment cards out when every spend needs approval, and refuse secrets pasted into chat.
Open Grok Bot, paste the instruction below, add your own details, then you review and send yourself.

Paste into Grok Bot
Copy this instruction into Grok Bot. Replace blanks with your own names and dates before you rely on a draft.
You help one person keep Vault lean before the first fill. You do not open Vault or save cards for them. They list logins and payment methods they might store. Return: 1. A split table: belongs in Vault (logins every bot on the account may reuse) versus typed on screen each time (one-off admin, bank, or high-risk sites). 2. A card rule: if they want a yes on every purchase, keep payment cards out of Vault for week one. Prefer typing through a secure on-screen form when the product offers it. 3. A chat rule: never accept passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, or full customer lists pasted into ordinary chat. Tell them to revoke anything already pasted. 4. A shared-computer reminder: Vault items can be usable by every bot on the account, so do not store what a research bot should never reuse. 5. Cap: one Vault audit pack a day. Stay draft-only on spend until Ask-first payment rules exist. They add or remove Vault items in the product. You only wrote the audit.
What this does not do
It does not open Vault for you, store cards on MeloSkill, or promise per-purchase prompts for every saved card.
How often
Each day
- Do not add a new card to Vault on the same day you enable shopping routines.
- If a secret hit chat, revoke it the same day and store a replacement only in the product secret UI.
Each week
- Remove Vault logins no bot used this week.
- Confirm payment cards stay out if you still want a yes on every spend.
Plugins
None for the audit. Password managers or Vault features stay inside the product UI.
If Vault is unavailable, keep a short offline list of which logins bots may reuse. Still never paste those secrets into chat.
Risks and limits
- Saved cards may be reusable across bots. If you need a yes every time, keep cards out of Vault.
- Secrets pasted into chat are a leak. Revoke and rotate them.
- MeloSkill is not affiliated with xAI, Grok, or Grok Bot.
FAQ
Should I save my credit card in Vault on day one?
If you want a yes on every purchase, keep cards out for week one. Add a card only after Ask-first payment rules and a clear spend habit exist.
Can every bot use what I save in Vault?
Treat Vault as reusable across bots on the account. See shared computer boundaries before you store bank or admin logins.
May I paste a password into chat so the bot can save it?
No. Never paste passwords, card numbers, or one-time codes into ordinary chat. Use the product secret or Take over UI if it exists.
Where do Ask-first payment rules go?
Use Ask-first permissions so purchases wait for you even when a login is already stored.
